Beautifully written and honest from the beginning. The personal experience of your trip really made this story meaningful. It’s sad that nearly everything and everyone is bought and sold. Like Frank Sobotka famously said in The Wire, “We used to make stuff in this country, build stuff. Now we just put our hand in the next guy's pocket.”
